Court is the one place where a person should have no fear of a faulty trial. They should be tried fairly and justly, race and class aside. In this part of the chapter Atticus is trying to convince the jury that they shouldn’t be influenced by anything, especially stereotyping as this is a court and here, everyone is equal.
